Sherry and David - Last wedding of 2006

Well today was my last wedding of 2006 and it couldn't have been better. Sherry and David got married at the beautiful Riverside Mission Inn in Riverside, CA. It is a place I had never been but it is amazing. They had the whole place decorated for the holidays so it made for a fun wedding. Sherry and David are a great couple and were a pleasure to photograph. I wish them all the best in their marriage. They are off to New York for a Christmas Honeymoon, so these Californians will have a real old fashioned winter vacation.

Matt and Diane

Matt and Diane are both clients of mine so it was a very fun wedding to shoot. Diane is a former model and doesn't take a bad picture and Matt isn't to shabby himself! Their wedding was at the beautiful Gainey Vinyard in Santa Ynez. The location was so beautiful and the food even better. I have so many great shots from the day that I am going to do my own sample album from their wedding. They are such a great couple and were actually engaged 15 years ago and broke up. They got back together after 10 years apart. Now that's true love......

Emily and Jeff

Emily and Jeff are a great couple who got married yesterday. We had a slight glitch with the park where we were going to shoot at. Turns out that even if a place is a public there is still a chance that you need to get a permit. We were planning on shooting at Craig Park in Fullerton, but when the groom arrived , he was told that we couldn't shoot there. Turns out that there is a park just up the street that didn't need a permit. Needless to say they turned out great as the park was almost identical to the one that was originally planned. Photographers... Make sure you don't need a permit! I have shot all over the place, but learned my lesson on this one. Emily and Jeff took it in stride, so all was well in the world. Their wedding was very heartfelt and loving and I was proud to be a part of it. Here are just a small selection of pics. As they saw each other before the wedding, they still wanted that "reveal" I love the one where Jeff is waiting for Emily to tell him to turn around. It is priceless. I wish these two the best and a blast on their cruise to Mexico.

Lindsay and Jake

I have known Lindsay for many years now and have photographed her and her family numerous times, so when she asked me to shoot her wedding I was thrilled. The wedding was held at the amazing Castle Green in Pasadena. It is such a beautiful venue so it is hard to take a bad shot. Lindsay and Jake are both actors so they are both very comfortable in front of the camera. That always makes for great shooting. This is just a selection of the pics. I felt like I was back in 1920 with the amazing architecture. They are off to San Francisco for their honeymoon. I wish them all the happiness in the world.

East Village Opera Company

My good friend Tyley was in town to do a concert with this group, The East Village Opera Company at The Knitting Factory in Hollywood. www.eastvillageoperacompany.com They are an amazing group of performers who combine opera and put a rock twist on it. Not only are the musicians and singers amazing, the whole sound is fantastic. Please check their website out and buy their album. You will love it. I have known Tyley now for 12 years and his voice is better than ever. He is a big star in Canada and soon to be one in the US..

Annette and George October 28th

Today was Annette and George's wedding. I have known Annette for many years and it was a blast shooting their wedding. They are both Actors so you can imagine how much fun that was to shoot! I also saw some old friends I haven't seen in a while so that was a plus. It is always fun shooting a friends wedding as you get a bit closer to the action. I think the shots show both of their personalities and how much they love each other.
