Jacob

This kid Jacob was great to shoot. I have tried for a while to get the perfect jumping shot, and he did it! I think he needs to be in a Brooks Brothers ad. Normally I shy away from the formal kids clothes , but it seemed to "suit" his sophisticated look!

Natalie

My first shoot today was Natalie Fryman. I photographed he 4 years ago when I just started out on digital. She just returned from studying at Vassar and is back to take LA by storm. I think she looks like Cindy Crawford....

David Harris

This actor is David Harris and he is currently a star of "The Thunder Down Under" in Las Vegas. Sorry ladies... He is taken!

Nakia

Nakia is a cool actress I shot yesterday. It was a hot day but she remained cool and collected! I think she looks amazing.

Another Great kid shoot

I am very lucky to have the support of a few very good kids agencies that refer a lot of clients to me. I really like photographing children, especially actor kids! They have such personality. This girl Meg reminded me of Pipi Longstocking. If they do a remake, they know who to call!

Karen and John

Karen and John are a great couple who I have known for a few years. They both have the most amazing blue eyes that make the shots great. We were going for edgy theatrical shots today and I think they got that! As well I always like to take a few "couple shots" at the end.

"WICKED" People

I have now shot 5 cast members of the LA production of "Wicked". Henriette and I and and some friends saw it on Friday and it is great. I highly recommend you see it. So here are Amanda, DJ, Philip, Laura and Natalie. They are great to shoot and oh so talented!

Carlo

I actually had another shoot today after Chelsea.. His name is Carlo, and I love this shot of him. It is the perfect blend of smile and serious that all of those agents like. He was wanting to catch lizards in my yard ( I have a million) But hey were all awol today. Maybe next time.

Chelsea

Had a great shoot today with Chelsea who is here for the summer with mer mujm and brother from Colorado. I am sure she will do great out here. Henriette did the makeup as the agent wanted a natural look as well as an Avril Lavine type look. I think she nailed that look really well.

Jackie and Stephen

Jackie and Stephen are getting married on July 21st in Irvine. I am excited to shoot their wedding. We did their engagement shots today at Sunset Beach. Unfortunately it didnt live up to its name and we didnt get a great Sunset. We did however get some amazing images even without the "golden hour" They were very easy to shoot and I know their wedding shots will be a blast. They were both super comfortable in front of the camera which makes my job easy... I love that. See you on the 21st!

Vegas and Phoenix

Had the best time in Vegas and Phoenix. Vegas was spent with Henriette and my cousin Mike from Winnipeg and his wife Chassity. They came all the way from Canada to see The Killers at the Hard Rock. Our friend Melissa also made the trip to see the concert. Mike is a crime reporter, radio host and author of 3 books. His mother is my mums sister and his dad is my dads brother! (confusing I know) So we are related on both sides of the family. He has a great blog www.mikeoncrime.com He and Chass are the parents of two great kids ,Parker and Isabella, who were at home while we partied! Then after the Vegas part, Henriette and I and Melissa flew to Phoenix for a few days at an amazing resort. Her husband Vince joined up in Phoenix and we had 3 days of swimming and room service. It was a blast and the weather was great. All 4 of us had the best time.. Then I came home and Henriette got on a plane in Phoenix to go to Denmark to visit her mum. So I am on my own for a few weeks. So it was a great trip and now I am back to reality!

Here are a few shots from the trip. One is from the Foundation room at the toip of Mandalay Bay, One is at the Wynn Buffet (amazing) and the other 2 are from Phoenix... The robes were a great touch! I miss it already. By the way, Melissa's husband and his 4 friends drove all the way to Vegas to eat with us at the Wynn, then turned around and went back.... Hard core. 10 hours for a buffet.. Actually I would probably do it too! It is awesome.
